Client Advocate Director
Shela Williams, is a native of Dayton, Ohio,married to an awesome man of God, James, has 3 wonderful sons, and daughters-in-law, 9 grandchildren,6 great grandchildren. She is a member of Bellevue Baptist Church where she serves in the library and the Arise2read program.
She was employed at Ohio Bell as a cord board operator & after moving to Tennessee transferred to Bellsouth Telecommunications as an electronic technician responsible for installation & maintenance of customer lines in the central office, toll facilities, switching network, and general telephony for the Covington and surrounding areas.
After retiring with 32 years of service, she was looking for a volunteer opportunity and saw an ad in the local paper for “Heart to Heart.” After meeting with the director and discovering that this precious jewel organization needed volunteers, she knew immediately she wanted to be a part of it. So in 2001, Shelastarted as an office assistanthelping with mail outs, scheduling of client appointments, sorting and placing baby clothing/items in the baby room, cleaning and doing whatever was needed. Shortly after, she was asked to become a peer counselor which involved meeting with clients seeking abortion, or those wanting to parent their child.
In 2006 the ministry grew and Shela was asked to serve as Center Director of the Covington location. She is presently serving as Client Services Director. Her responsibilities include, training/ overseeing all volunteers, educational materials for clients, supplies, computer related issues, reviewing client files, compiling client statistics, updating policy & procedure.
Her experience with Confidential Care Mobile Ministry is always a joy. Day after day the hand of God is clearly visible as we witness sustenance, provision and the blessings of the Lord as we meet with clients who receive God’s precious gift of eternal life and choose life for their unborn.
